In the noisy city, The Fragrance Corridor Park of Huangqi Mountain brings you an immersive experience of nature.   黄旗山南麓香遇走廊位于东莞市东城区，是黄旗山南侧山脚的一片带状景观空间，全长约2.8公里。其紧邻八一路城市主干道，近东莞大道、环城南路，周边有地铁1号线，及规划中的2号、8号线，对东莞城区有较好的辐射。黄旗山南麓香遇走廊基于“涟漪”的设计概念，意图在黄旗山南侧山脚下串联和扩散黄旗山的美丽和生态，打造富有活力、配套完善、自然生态、连片畅享的综合型城市绿道公园，成为市民喜闻乐见的游憩空间和景观形象，激发区域活力。建成后，香遇走廊形成一个完整的活力绿廊，将黄旗山南麓的生态文化资源有机串联起来，整个黄旗南文体带的生态拼图也进一步完善，为未来黄旗山片区的城市发展提供了有力支撑。 The Fragrance Corridor project at the southern foot of Mount Huangqi is located in Dongcheng Subdistrict, Dongguan City. It is a belt-shaped landscape space on the south side of Mount Huangqi, with a total length of approximately 2.8 kilometers. It borders the urban main thoroughfare Bayi Road and gets close to Dongguan Avenue and Huancheng South Road. Moreover, it is surrounded by Metro Line 1 and the planned Metro Line 2 and Metro Line 8. All these factors make it have a good radiation effect in the urban district of Dongguan. The Fragrance Corridor at the southern foot of Mount Huangqi is based on the design concept of "ripple", aiming to connect and spread the beauty and ecology of Mount Huangqi at its southern foot and form a public landscape, and a comprehensive urban greenway park with vitality, complete facilities, natural ecology and a connected area is built. Finally, it is to create a recreational space and landscape image that citizens enjoy and stimulate regional vigor. With the completion of The Fragrance Corridor at the Southern Foot of Huangqi Mountain, the ecological map of the whole Huangqi South Cultural and Sports Belt will be further improved, providing a strong support for the future urban development of Huangqi Mountain.   以绿道为核心链接山水城 Link the Landscape City Based on the Greenway 香遇走廊对黄旗山片区的自然和城市资源进行综合发掘利用，整合山、水、城核心要素，以绿道线性空间为载体，将水塘、密林、村落、城市多种要素进行串联，连线成片。因势利导，基于场地自身特征设置场所功能，将线性绿道空间与山水资源深度融合。 The Fragrance Corridor comprehensively explores and utilizes the natural and urban resources in the Huangqi Mountain Area. Besides, it integrates the core elements of mountain, water and city, and connects various elements such as ponds, dense forests, villages and cities based on the linear space of the greenway. By taking advantage of its situation, site functions are set up based on its characteristics, deeply integrate the linear greenway space with landscape resources.   1.演绎自然山水之美 1.Interpret the Beauty of Natural Landscape 黄旗山风景宜人，生态本底良好。设计强调重整合、轻介入，最大限度保证黄旗山南麓良好的原生状态，充分发挥其生态本底及优势资源的价值。以植物空间为主要手段塑造山水生境，完善生态系统，打造自然中悠享，山水间惬意呼吸的山水画卷。 Huangqi Mountain boasts pleasant scenery and a good ecological background. The design emphasizes integration and neglects intervention, to ensure the good original state of the southern foot of Huangqi Mountain to the maximum extent and give full play to its ecological background and value of superior resources. Mainly by creating the plant space, the landscape habitat is shaped to improve the ecosystem and create a landscape picture scroll for people to enjoy leisurely in nature and breathe comfortably in the landscape.   2.构建舒适宜人的慢行体验 2.Create Comfortable and Pleasant Slow Walking Experience 以一条 7 米宽的绿道为主动脉，链接周边山水要素，串联起旧村、鱼塘片区，并衔接黄旗山城市公园。路径设置充分尊重场地原有肌理，融于自然。藉由场地自身特色发散，让人与自然的对话多了些许诗意。入口以开敞之势，欢迎市民来此体验寻香之旅。 With a 7-meter-wide greenway as the aorta, it links the surrounding landscape elements, connecting the old villages and fish pond areas, and connecting the Huangqi Mountain City Park. The path setting fully respects the original structure of the site, and the site is blended in with nature. With the divergence of site characteristics, the dialogue between man and nature is a little more poetic. The open entrance welcomes citizens to experience the journey of seeking nature.   3.基于山水自然基底的场所营造 3.Place Building Based on Natural Landscape Base 城市客厅：保留现状浓密大树，综合考虑市民观景需求，从观水、观城、观山、观林多个维度塑造景观。结合景观廊架形成水岸剧场，这里也是观看城市天际线的最佳场所，水边强调亲水互动、生态自然的岸线体验。结合现状乔木打造林下停留和休息空间，设置林下艺术空间、林下书吧、开放式儿童活动区等。整体形成可观景、可亲水、可休闲、可活动的活力热点。 Urban Living Room: With comprehensive consideration of citizens’ needs for enjoying the scenery, it retains the current dense trees and shapes the landscape from multiple dimensions of viewing the water, city, mountain and forest. Combined with the landscape porch, the Waterfront Theater is formed. It is also the best place to watch the city skyline. The waterfront activities emphasize the experience of interaction with water and ecological nature. Combined with the current arbor, it creates a stay-and-rest space under the forest and set up an art space under the forest, a book bar under the forest, an open children’s activity area, etc. It forms a dynamic hot spot for enjoying sceneries, water sports, leisure and activity as a whole.   湖光山色：充分结合场地优势生态资源，沿湖驳岸设置亲水体验场所。结合主绿道系统延伸出滨水观光步道；将原有鱼塘生态化改造，缓坡入水结合水生植物营造生态野趣的滨水空间；沿途设置多样亲水设施，结合休憩、观景、生态科普等多种主题功能，让游人从多重视角感受山水之美。 Landscape of Lakes and Mountains: Waterfront experience places are built along the lake revetment based on the superior ecological resources of the site. The waterfront sightseeing footpath extends from the main greenway system; the original fish pond is transformed ecologically, and an ecological waterfront space with rustic charm is built based on the gentle slope and aquatic plants; various waterfront facilities along the way with various thematic functions such as rest, sightseeing and ecological science popularization enable visitors to feel the beauty of the landscape from multiple perspectives.   故道花坪：巧妙利用场地原有桉树林形成场地框架，绿道从两侧穿行。融入儿童友好理念，林下结合现状乔木及草坪空间设置自然野趣、生态多元的活动设施，在大自然中享受山水之美，启迪心灵。受农林用地的影响，功能场地以开放草坪为主，鼓励城市活动及市民自发的弹性功能，高大的树木提供了天然的遮阳伞，在草坪上野餐、露营、小型聚会都是不错的选择。 Parterre along the Road: The site frame is formed based on the original eucalyptus forest, and the greenway passes through both sides. Incorporated with the child-friendliness concept, activities facilities with natural rustic charm and diverse ecology are set up under the forest with the current arbor and lawn space, so people can enjoy the beauty of the landscape in nature and enlighten their souls. Affected by agricultural and forestry lands, the functional sites are mainly open lawns, which encourage urban activities and citizens’ spontaneous elastic functions. Tall trees provide natural umbrellas. Picnics, camping and small parties on the lawn are all good choices.   生态湿地：利用原有鱼塘改造为生态湿地，对现有水塘进行岸线软化和生态处理，作为湿地和雨水花园调蓄场地洪涝及净化雨水。结合水生植物及滨水绿道，为游人提供一处亲近山水，放松身心的绝佳场所。 The ecological wetland: The original fish ponds are transformed into the ecological wetland. Meanwhile, the existing ponds are subjected to shoreline softening and ecological treatment to serve as the wetland and rainwater garden to regulate and store floods and purify rainwater. Combined with aquatic plants and the waterfront greenway, it provides a perfect place for tourists to get close to mountains and rivers and relax.   儿童天地：通过地形堆坡模拟黄旗山起伏的地形变化，场地内结合高差设置儿童活动设施，留足大面积草坪空间，孩子们可以自由奔跑，肆意挥洒热情。 Children’s World: The undulating terrain of Mount Huangqi is simulated through terrain hilling. Children's activity facilities are set up on the site in combination with the height difference, thus leaving enough lawn space for them to run freely and show enthusiasm.   涟漪广场：涟漪休息区为在场地中具有标志性的休息空间。它的铺地形态概念来源于本次设计的概念“涟漪”，以四层非常有机的形态渲染亲近自然的休息空间体验，铺地材料则选用颜色由外到内由浅至深变化的水洗石。当点景树随着时间生长，可以想象它形成一种极具吸引力和聚合感的“榕树下”休息空间。 Ripple Square: Ripple Square is an iconic rest space in the venue. Its paving form comes from the concept of "ripple" in this design, which renders the experience of a relaxing space close to nature in four layers of organic forms. The paving material is made up of washed stones with color changing from outside to inside and from light to deep. When the landscape trees grow with time, we can imagine they will form an attractive and cohesive "banyan tree" rest space.   服务建筑：采用新中式风格，灵感来源于灵动的绿道和层叠的山峰，力图与黄旗山及项目的精神属性相匹配。 Service Buildings: The new Chinese style is adopted, inspired by the dynamic greenway and the peaks one after another, they try to match the spirit of Mount Huangqi and the project.   感知自然的公园绿道 Park Greenway for Experiencing the Nature 于是，在我们面前一幅这样的图景逐渐呈现，依山傍水的带状公园，用文化、创新和活动将城市串联起来，在一个山林环绕，候鸟栖息、风景如画的地方，下班后、午休间、闲暇时，市民在这里骑车健身，休闲漫步。在繁忙都市的中心，它是一片精神和身体的绿洲，来这里沉醉在绿色中，沉浸在清脆的鸟鸣声和孩子们的笑声中，享受自然快乐的生活，这里也是消隐在自然中的文化胜地，历史和人文的要素有机地渗入空间和体验的每个角落。 So a picture gradually unfolds in front of us: a belt-shaped park near mountains and rivers connects the city with culture, innovation and activity. In a picturesque place surrounded by mountains and forests and inhabited by migratory birds, citizens can ride bicycles and exercise and take leisure walks here after work, during lunch breaks and in leisure time. In the center of the bustling city, it is a mental and physical oasis. You can come here to immerse yourself in the green, the crisp birdsong and the children's laughter and enjoy the natural and happy life. It is also a cultural resort hidden in nature. Historical and cultural elements infiltrate every corner of space and experience organically.   香遇走廊的设计实践，也给了我们一次机会重新思考山水、绿道、城市与人的关系，让我们对设计对自然的力量和设计的“度”有了更深刻的认识，用重整合、轻介入的方式，创造了一个让市民可以感知自然、回归内心的公园绿道。 The design practice of The Fragrance Corridor gives us a chance to rethink the relationship between landscape, greenway, city and people, and gives us a deeper understanding of the power of nature and the degree of design.
