Associate Dean, professor and doctoral supervisor of the school of architecture of Harbin Institute of Technology. Sun Cheng is a winner of the young architect award of China Architectural Society, and also serves as the vice chairman of the Architectural Digital Technology Teaching Committee, the vice chairman of China Green Building and Energy Saving Youth Committee, the member of the academic committee of cold climate architecture of China Architectural Society, and the member of the International Cooperative Research Association of Cold Climate Architecture (ICCHA). He served as the vice chairman of the Asian Research Center of Global Risk Forum (GRF) in Davos and other academic posts, and served as the editorial board of four academic journals. Sun Cheng has made a series of research achievements in the fields of architectural design in cold regions, digital architectural design, energy-saving design of buildings in cold regions, urban disaster prevention and building safety.
