He is also a bearer of numerous prizes, such as National Best Science and Technology Worker(1997), Expert who enjoys special subsidy from the State Council(1998), Excellent Mid-young aged Expert of the Ministry of Personnel(1999), Candidate of “National Hundred, Thousand & Ten Thousand Reserves Project”(1999), French Culture & Art Cavalier Medal(2003),and Liang Sicheng Award(2007), together with one Gold Medal, eight Silver Medals and five Bronze medals of National Best Engineering Design; Gold Award and Mention Award of ARCASIA, and the First Prize and Third Prize of the International Copper Association. Cui Kai also carried some works through the press, such as Engineering Report in 2002, Desheng Up-town in 2006, Native Design in 2009, Inside-Out in 2010 and the Cui Kai Volume of Contemporary Architects Series in 2012.
