Rosetta Sarah Elkin is Assistant Professor of Landscape Architecture at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design and an Associate at Harvard’s Arnold Arboretum. As a registered landscape architect in the Netherlands, Elkin is the principle of rse-landscape, a design studio founded in 2007, which prioritizes exhibition and publication as design research. Her teaching and design focus on the innovative application of ecology and botanical technology, emphasize the important role of plants, and solve complex urban and rural problems by defining the historical and political practice of the essence of life. Her awards, honours, and fellowships include Fellow of the American Academy in Rome, Harvard Climate Change Solutions Fund, Graham Foundation for the Arts, Robert Rauschenberg Foundation, Harvard Asia Center, Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study.
