Colin studied Anthropology and Art at UC Berkeley before moving to Chicago to pursue his Masters of Architecture degree at the University of Illinois. After graduation Colin joined the Chicago office of Skidmore, Owings and Merrill (SOM). Colin is currently an Executive Director at AECOM leading the architecture practice for the China region. Colin specializes in mixed use urban projects with an emphasis on integrating architectural form with sustainable design. Colin’s approach to design incorporates the latest digital design tools and sustainability research with an understanding of clients business and market needs. The result is beautiful architecture that is at once highly technical and at harmony with the local climate and culture.  Colin is a US registered architect, member of AIA Shanghai and a USGBC registered LEED AP able to address sustainability issues and guide projects towards more environmentally sensitive solutions.
