Gong Shuzhang holds a master's degree in architecture and a master's degree in design from Harvard University. He became an outstanding architect of Republic of China in 2007. He is now an associate professor and director of the Institute of Architecture of National Jiaotong University. Gong Shuzhang is specializing in architectural design, as well as architectural history theory and criticism and has published many important architectural comments and theoretical articles in professional magazines such as Architect, Taiwan Architecture and La Vie. Gong Shuzhang actively participated in cross-border international exhibitions and lectures, and participated in the "2008 Hong Kong-Shenzhen Bi-City Biennale " and "2008 Venice Architecture Biennale – Next-Gene 20" on behalf of Taiwan. He has won many professional recognition and awards, including "German iF Communication Design Award", "Japanese JCD International Design Award", "Taiwan Architecture Award" , "Taiwan Interior Design Award", etc.
